Nothing to report.................
Well it has been 3 since we received our letter to say that we can go to next stage.
That a social worker will be allocated to us and we be in touch.
We know that in SW's world this is probably on a mini second.
it how ever feels that we have been left out on a limb and forgotten.
We are still reading and feel that all we can read now is books of adoption that you read to children after they are adopted.
I have read one book called a boy called it well that is really heart wrenching.

"A boy called it" is truly shocking, I have to say I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! But if someone DID want to understand the worst a child could go through then it is worth a read. But don't say I didn't warn you!
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, three weeks in the life of a social worker is like a blink of an eye to them and like a lifetime to us. Looks like you have a healthy amount of cynicism which is really needed in this process!
