Thought i might have heard something to day from either local agency or Bernardo's but nothing.
I know it is early days so have started to look for books that are going to help us a long our journey through to adoption and help us after we find our family.

- Hi I have been married to my hubby for 16 years.I live in Peterborough with my darling Hubby and wounderfull dog We have tried to have children with IVF but not worked so we are trying adoption. I'm a happy go lucky person. We have a dog who is lovely {Pongo} who is a German Shephard.And have a kitten when old enough to leave mum. Have called him Mylo,i am a barber, just gone into buisness with my best friend. I am a member of the local astromnomy club. I am a real shop ahollic love to shop even if just window shoping i always get asked what to by wife, mother, girlfriend for christmas,, anniversary and birthday and has always got it right lol.
Don't be disheartened. It took over 10 days for one LA to get back to us, whereas our local VA was quicker (in terms of sending leaflets etc) but then took a few weeks to get an appointment. Don't forget that children in care has been a hot media topic and this might have increased enquiries to Barnados as their top bloke was all over the news. I think patience has to be our middle name when going through this process!!
